Breeze Airways will soon offer nonstop flights from Tampa International Airport to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the budget airline announced Tuesday — part of an effort to continue building off the company’s rapid growth in the region.

Flights to the Dominican Republic will operate Mondays and Fridays beginning June 18, 2027, with introductory fares starting at $149 one way, the release says. The promotion applies to the airline’s No Flex fares for travel from Tampa to Santo Domingo through Sept. 7, 2027, includes taxes and government fees, and is subject to restrictions.

The airline also announced service to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, beginning May 26, 2027, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. That route uses Breeze’s “BreezeThru” service, which makes one stop but allows passengers to remain on the same plane.

Breeze says its flights at TPA increased 73% year-over-year in the first half of 2026. In January 2027, it expects to offer more than twice as many seats as in January 2026.

“We continue to see great demand for our high-value, low-cost model in Tampa, and our continued growth there is an example of just that,” founder and CEO David Neeleman says in the release.

Tampa has played a central role in Breeze’s growth since the airline’s first flight departed TPA for Charleston, South Carolina, on May 27, 2021. Its first international nonstop flight from Tampa, to Nassau, Bahamas, launched this June. Now, Breeze operates more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes to 95 cities in the U.S., Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
