A Tampa-based health technology company with regional offices throughout the U.S. and Canada has named a new CEO.

Lee Horner has been tapped to take on the top job at DAS Health, which provides health care IT, management services and business solutions for health care and senior care organizations, the company announced Monday.

Horner brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in health care software and services, the release says.

“Throughout his career, he has guided high-growth health care technology companies through strategic transformation, product innovation and operational scaling — building a strong reputation for visionary leadership and disciplined execution,” the release says.

Before joining DAS Health, Horner was the CEO of Q Care Plus, a telehealth provider specializing in affordable, accessible sexual health services including PrEP, Doxy-PEP and HIV/STI testing.

Horner served as CEO of several other subsidiaries of Kinderhook Portfolio Cos., the parent company of Q Care Plus. According to his LinkedIn profile, Horner worked as CEO of virtual care company Synzi from 2018 to 2021 and also served as president of Kinderhook company Stratus Video.

As CEO, the release says, Horner will help DAS Health strengthen its technology-enabled services and expand its position as a leading healthcare managed service provider (MSP) to providers throughout the U.S.

"DAS Health has earned a strong reputation for helping health care organizations navigate complexity and improve outcomes through technology and services," Horner says in the release. "I'm thrilled to join this talented team and build on that momentum."

Founded in 2003, DAS Health works with both independent and enterprise physician groups and health care systems, with regional offices in 15 states and Canada and an employee presence in more than 35 states and 6 Canadian provinces. The company delivers managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud hosting, revenue cycle management, value-based care, patient engagement, compliance and practice management solutions, impacting more than 15 million patients nationwide.
