More than two dozen companies in the Gulf Coast region have been ranked among the fastest growing in the Southeast, based on revenue. Business publication Inc. compiled the 2026 Inc. Regionals list, which rated 182 privately-held companies based on their percentage growth from 2022 to 2024. To qualify, companies had to have at least $100,000 in revenue in 2022 and $1 million in 2024.
Twenty-seven companies in the region made the list. Leading the Gulf Coast is MindCloud, a software company out of Clearwater that grew 607% during the two-year period ending in 2024. Also on the list were everything from an online art school based in Sarasota to a home improvement media company in Cape Coral.

In all, Inc. recognized 949 companies nationwide on its 2026 Regionals lists. They cover seven regions: Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Pacific, Southwest, Rocky Mountain and Midwest.
The Southeast includes Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Puerto Rico .Companies on the 2026 Inc. Regionals list in the Southeast had a median growth rate of 89%, collectively added 12,079 jobs and contributed $3.4 billion to the region's economy.
