Roofing company triples service tech team

A roofing company that serves Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties is adding technicians to its staff to meet what it says is a growing demand for its services in Southwest Florida.

Gulf Western Roofing, based in Bonita Springs, reports that it had four service technicians on its team in 2024. Now it has added eight more to address increasing requests for service in the region, according to a statement.

"Our larger service tech team allows us to respond quickly to repair needs, preventative maintenance and emergency calls while upholding our established quality standards,” Gulf Western Roofing President and CEO Joseph K. Lamb Jr. says in the statement. 

The 12 service technicians offer assistance to property owners facing roofing challenges — including storm damage assessment, emergency repairs and installation of heat-resistant and wind-rated materials — as well as commercial roof system maintenance. In addition, techs provide preventative maintenance programs for Florida’s subtropical environment and receive specialized training on Florida building codes and installation requirements for coastal construction zones, according to a statement.

"Southwest Florida's building boom coupled with our tropical weather patterns has intensified the need for qualified roofing professionals," Lamb says. "With the rapid growth in our region, we must continue to invest in our team to deliver the exceptional service our customers deserve.”
