$68M Tampa health tech firm appoints new CEO

After a little over a year, Tampa-based health care technology firm Wellgistics Health is appointing a new CEO.

Brian Norton will be stepping in to replace outgoing CEO Tim Canning, who took the post in January 2024.

“We thank Tim for his dedication to Wellgistics Health,” says Suren Ajjarapu, chairman of the board for Wellgistics Health in a statement. “His contributions have helped lay a foundation for long-term success. Moving forward, we are confident that Brian Norton’s leadership, experience, and vision will drive the Company’s next phase of operational excellence and innovation.”

Wellgistics Health was founded in 2022 and acquired by Danam Health in 2024. It bills itself as a holding company seeking to be a micro health ecosystem, with a portfolio of companies that includes a technology platform, pharmacy and wholesale operations that provides prescription and clinical services. The company posted $68 million in revenue in the past 12 months.
