A retailer specializing in merchandise tied to the popular K-pop scene has opened a shop in Tampa.

K pop Nabi’s new space is at 11965 Sheldon Road, about a mile south of Citrus Park Town Center. Its previous store was in Seminole Heights.

The shop is a family owned business that started in October 2024 and sells K-pop albums, merchandise, and curated Japanese and Korean stationery.

On its website it says the goal is “to bring a piece of South Korea to Florida by providing official and authenticated K-pop albums and merchandise.”

K-pop is the pop culture trend associated with the popular music scene coming out of South Korea. Its most recognizable export, at least for those not steeped in the culture, is the band BTS.

K pop Nabi’s new space is 1,500 square feet, and the store has signed a three-year lease with options to renew for up to seven years. According to Saunders Commercial, which represented the retailer, the new location has an open floor plan with the tenant making improvements focused on shelving and display.

Saunders’ Sid Bhatt and Trace Linder represented the retailer in the transaction.
