Longtime Clearwater marketing firm Postcard Mania has a big message to deliver to its customers: In 2024, the company had $119 million in revenue — surpassing its 2023 revenue, a then-record, of $104.6 million by 14%.

This reflects a series of positive trends that the company attributes to a "direct mail revival," in a statement from the company. Other figures reported include a 17% year-over-year growth since 2020, which occurred after a decade of 5% growth by comparison.

Aside from market trends, Postcard Mania points to its direct mail automation and partnerships arm, PCM Integrations, as one of the keys to its success. The division increased total revenue 54.8%, total mailing quantity 89% and new customer count by 110%, according to the company. PCMi blends the technological with the analog, sending out physical mailers based on triggers such as someone visiting a website or a sales call going to voicemail instead of connecting.

“People feel bombarded by the online world, and that makes it difficult for businesses to stand out and connect with people. But this is where direct mail shines — you get to skip the digital clutter and put your message directly into the hand of the prospect or customer," says PostcardMania Founder and CEO Joy Gendusa in the statement. "That's why direct mail in its latest form is growing: as a technology-driven touchpoint that's as easy and responsive to send as email, yet makes a much more meaningful impact. I think the growth of automated and CRM-driven direct mail will continue well into the future."

Postcard Mania was founded in a 600 square-foot cottage by CEO Joy Gendusa in 1998. It now boasts 390 staff in a nearly-70,000 square-foot space.
