There is a new chief financial officer for Sarasota Memorial Health Care System. Jen Rosati was appointed CFO, effective Feb. 17.

Rosati has nearly two decades of experience in comprehensive health care financial management, according to a statement. She has served as Sarasota Memorial’s vice president of financial operations since June. Before that, she was CFO for Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale and led the corporate finance department at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood.

Rosati, who grew up in Nokomis, has a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting and finance from the University of Miami, according to a statement.

Her predecessor, Jeff Limbocker, was appointed CFO in 2022 and promoted to chief operating officer in May 2024. Since then, he has been serving in a temporary dual role as COO and CFO. He will now focus exclusively on his role as COO “during a time of critical growth for the health system," playing a key part in transitioning to the Epic electronic medical record platform and developing a new hospital in North Port, among other growth projects, according to a statement.

“As Sarasota Memorial expands to meet the community's needs,” CEO David Verinder says in a statement, “we are fortunate to have an exceptional leadership team focused on maintaining our five-star patient care, supportive work environment and strong operating and financial performance.”

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System had nearly $1.88 billion in operating revenue in 2024.
