National medical aesthetics company opening Sarasota clinic

A clinic focusing on aesthetics will open in Sarasota this May. SkinSpirit plans to bring “science-backed skin care solutions” to a location on 8th Street, according to a statement, which says the entry of the business into the market is part of a strategic expansion for the brand.

SkinSpirit has more than 50 locations across the country. Its first and only other Florida clinic opened in Miami April 8. 

"The Sarasota launch marks a significant milestone in our brand's journey to becoming the go-to national medical aesthetic brand, with Florida playing a crucial role in this next phase of our expansion," SkinSpirit CEO and co-founder Lynn Heublein says in the statement. 

Over the last 20-plus years, the company has grown from its flagship location in Silicon Valley, California, to 17 states and the District of Columbia.

Founded in 2003 by two Stanford University alumni, SkinSpirit specializes in treatments like facials and provides Botox and other injectables as well as laser offerings. Its mission is to “elevate the beauty and confidence of every client through scientifically validated methods” and services such as skin, face and body treatments. The company says that it is the No. 1 provider of Botox and dermal filler in the nation.

CeCe Davis, who is an advanced practice registered nurse and family nurse practitioner, will lead the Sarasota SkinSpirit location. She has been based in Austin, Texas, and brings more than a decade of expertise in facial aesthetics, plastic and reconstructive surgery, according to the statement.

SkinSpirit will open May 6 at 2220 Eighth St. in Sarasota. It will be the 52nd location for the company.
