3D Cloud, a digital asset management company specializing in 3D products for interior design and e-commerce, recently announced a new hire for its home furnishings and office department.

Geoffrey Mark joins the company as executive director for home furnishings and office after working for Crate and Barrel for fifteen years. During his tenure at Crate and Barrel he held multiple roles as a CGI specialist, helping shift the company from traditional product photography to 3D technology, according to a statement.

"We're excited to have Geoff on the team," says Beck Besecker, CEO and co-founder of 3D Cloud in the statement. "He understands the challenges our clients face because he's been in their shoes. He was early to 3D commerce and brings a rare mix of creativity, industry expertise, and leadership to this role."

According to 3D Cloud, Mark will help retailers and manufacturers move away from managing 3D product catalogs in spreadsheets and toward more sustainable, scalable platform-based 3D digital asset management in his new role.

3D Cloud was founded by brothers Barry and Beck Besecker in 2011 in St. Pete. It currently boasts over $20 million in annual revenue through its B2B SaaS model showcasing products for a variety of home retailers including La-Z-Boy, Macy’s and Joybird.
