The builders behind the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Naples have hit a construction milestone.

Stock Residences and general contractor Suffolk Construction topped off the project and will now begin work on the interior and finishing exterior, according to a statement.

This topping off, though, is different from many others.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Naples is not a single building nor is it a pair of towers. It is a five-building complex sitting on 6 acres with the gulf to the west and Vanderbilt Lagoon to the north.

Four of the buildings — two are 12 stories and two are six stories — are currently being built and the structural work has just been completed. With that done, and the remaining work underway, the 128-unit residential compound “is steadily on track toward receiving its temporary certificate of occupancy by early next year, with move-ins to follow thereafter.”

The spokesperson says 75% of the units, including three penthouses, have already sold, with sales totaling about $475 million.

As for the fifth and final building, it will also be six stories though the timing of its construction is still in process.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Naples will include three, four and five-bedroom homes starting at $5.2 million as well as penthouses. Amenities include a 22-slip marina, a park with walking trails, a putting green and covered pavilions.

It will also have The Vanderbilt Club, a 28,000-square-foot club with a Grand Owner’s atrium and lobby lounge, a private restaurant, a business center and coffee lounge, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a full-service spa.

Naples-based Stock Development is developing the compound through its Stock Residences high-end condo division.
