Brandon drug store sells for $5.2 million

A 10,856-square-foot building leased to CVS in Brandon has been sold.

The property is at 715 W. Brandon Blvd., at the intersection with King Avenue, and about a mile east of Interstate 75 and Brandon Exchange, the mall formerly known as the Brandon Town Center.

The buyer is an LLC tied to the Belleair Development Group in Pinellas Park. It paid $5.2 million. According to Marcus & Millichap, which brokered and announced the deal, the buyer bought the property as part of a 1031 Exchange.

The firm says CVS has a net lease on the property. that runs through Jan. 31, 2028.

County records show that the property’s previous owner was CVS, which paid $5.1 million for it 2002.

As for the property itself, according to a listing on the commercial real estate website LoopNet, the one-story building was built in 2001 and sits on 1.77 acres. 

Ronnie Issenberg, Gabriel Britti and Ricardo Esteves of Marcus & Millichap’s Miami office represented the seller. The trio along with Jonathan Gerszberg from the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office represented the buyer.
