The promotions follow some other leadershift changes at the company, which was founded in 1960 and has offices in Tamarac, Sarasota and Tampa, in addition to Fort Myers. Mike Novo, who has been with the company since 2000, was named COO earlier in September. And in July the company named Jason Grabowski president and CEO. Grabowski has worked for B&I Contractors since 1991 and has been on its executive leadership team since 2001, the company says.

B&I, which works in commercial, institutional, and industrial industries throughout Florida and beyond, had $188 million in revenue in 2023, up 11.9% from $168 million  in 2022.
