A seasoned financial executive has joined the leadership team for the local division of a national credit union. Lake Michigan Credit Union named Dennis McLean the vice president of commercial lending in Sarasota.
McLean is known for being “tenacious,” according to Jeff Radcliffe, senior vice president of commercial lending for the credit union.
“He tirelessly advocates for members and won’t rest until he delivers the results they’re looking for — and then some,” Radcliffe says in a statement.
McLean has been in commercial lending for almost 30 years, spent in southwest Florida and around Boston, Massachusetts.
Lake Michigan Credit Union has 21 branches across southwest Florida and Tampa Bay, according to a statement. It is the largest credit union in Michigan and 14th largest in the country, the statement says. Its Sarasota branch is at 1790 Main Street.
“LMCU gets deals done,” McLean says in the statement. “I love to collaborate with great people and originate mutually beneficial relationships, and LMCU’s member-focused mission makes those things happen every day.”
Lake Michigan Credit Union has more than $13 billion in assets, with more than $16 billion in its portfolio and service mortgages, according to a statement. Its employees number more than 1,650, and it has over 600,000 members.
