Tweeds, a custom suit and clothing store founded by Donald Carlson in Sarasota in 2019, recently opened a location in downtown Naples, bringing the total stores to five.

“We are thrilled to bring our bespoke menswear experience to Naples,” says Carlson in a statement. “If you’ve never done custom before, it’s a cool experience. Not only will your suit fit perfectly, but there are hundreds of fabric colors and patterns. Then you pick the lining, the buttons and the stitching. It brings your vision to life — a suit is an extension of your personality.”

Custom clothing options include men’s and women’s suits, dress shirts, sport coats and jeans, with suits starting at $1,850.

The branch at 955 Fifth Ave. N. in the Naples Design District aims to create a leisurely feel alongside the shopping experience, with a putting green and complimentary bar service, the release states.

Tweeds originally began as a mobile suit store serving the Sarasota area. The first brick-and-mortar location opened in downtown Sarasota in 2022, followed by a downtown Tampa location near Oxford Exchange in 2023, a third showroom in St. Petersburg in June and a fourth location opened in Orlando’s Baldwin Court in October.
