Beth Lindsay-Wood Joins Moffitt Cancer Center as New Chief Informatics and Technology Officer.

Moffitt Cancer Center, based in Tampa with several locations in the Tampa Bay Area, recently hired a new senior vice president, chief informatics and technology officer.

Elizabeth "Beth" Lindsay-Wood is tasked with shaping and executing the organization’s overall technology strategy and operations. This includes aligning technology initiatives with business goals, spearheading transformation and ensuring that technology investments deliver maximum value to patients and the organization. 

Lindsay-Wood oversees Moffitt’s IT infrastructure, clinical informatics, cybersecurity and IT applications throughout the enterprise. 

Lindsay-Wood previously served as CIO in an interim role from 2019 to 2020 and fully stepped into the role from 2020 to 2022. She briefly served at City of Hope in Duarte, California as system vice president, senior vice president and CIO before coming back to Florida.

Other experience includes serving as a partner in a health care consulting firm and volunteering as a board member of Tampa Bay Tech.
