Regions Bank has named two new market executives to cover the Fort Myers and Sarasota areas, respectively.
Consumer Banking Manager Dorothy Blasingim will be the market executive for the Fort Myers and Cape Coral territories. She is a Fort Myers native with 40 years of banking experience, including over 20 years at Regions leading operations for more than a dozen Regions branch locations in communities including Port Charlotte, Fort Myers and Naples, according to a statement.
Daniel Eveloff, commercial banking leader for Regions along the Gulf Coast, has also been promoted to serve as market executive for Sarasota, Bradenton and surrounding communities. Eveloff has more than 24 years of banking experience, including 18 years serving commercial and corporate banking clients. According to a statement, he started his banking career in 2000 with Bank of America and graduated from its management training program.
As market executives, Blasingim and Eveloff will meet customers’ financial needs and partner with team members from departments across the company — such as consumer banking, commercial banking, wealth management and mortgage banking — to deliver holistic, customized solutions for their clients, according to a statement. They will also lead community engagement efforts.
The appointments of Blasingim and Eveloff come as Earnest Wilks, who previously oversaw both the Fort Myers-Cape Coral and Sarasota-Bradenton markets, takes on a role as credit officer in Orlando with Regions.
Regions Financial Corp., headquartered in Alabama, has $157 billion in assets and clients across the South, Midwest and Texas. Through its subsidiary, Regions Bank, it operates about 1,250 banking offices and more than 2,000 ATMs.
