Avelo extending the runway of its central Florida flight schedule

Houston-based Avelo Airlines recently announced plans to extend its flight schedule through Labor Day 2025 at three central Florida airports: Tampa (TPA), Lakeland (LA) and Orlando (MCO).

“It’s time to start planning summer travel, and we are excited to extend Avelo’s east coast flight schedule through Labor Day 2025,” Avelo Airlines Head of Commercial Trevor Yealy says in a statement. “It’s the perfect time for travelers to get a head start on booking their summer vacations or weekend getaways.”

The following routes are now available for booking through Sept. 2, 2025:

From Lakeland International Airport (LAL):

  • Boston / Manchester, New Hampshire (MHT)
  • Charlotte / Concord (USA)
  • Nashville, (BNA)
  • New Haven, Connecticut (HVN)
  • Philadelphia / Wilmington (ILG)
  • San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU)
  • Rochester (ROC)

From Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tampa International Airport (TPA):

  • New Haven, Conn. (HVN)
  • Philadelphia / Wilmington, Del. (ILG)
  • Wilmington, N.C. (ILM)

Avelo Airlines is also extending its schedule for Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers and Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) but did not provide specific destinations.

Avelo has flown almost 6 million customers on over 46,000 flights since its inception in April 2021. Avelo serves 48 cities spanning 22 states and Puerto Rico, as well as two international destinations: Jamaica and Mexico.
