CORE Construction, a Texas-based firm with a longtime presence in Florida, recently began work on a senior living community with Experience Senior Living — the fifth project of its kind working with this organization. The facility will be off Bell Shoals Road in Valrico, east of Tampa.

The 240,613-square-foot facility will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care options for residents. Amenities include a smart fitness center, a resort-style pool, a full-service salon, a movie theater and multiple dining options.

“The CORE team is thrilled to be working with Experience Senior Living on this significant project. Over the years, our firms have developed a deep trust in one another, and we look forward to the successful completion of this project as well,” says Scott Olthoff, president of CORE Construction Florida, in the release.

CORE Construction was founded in 1937 and has been in Florida since 1982. It currently has offices in Manatee-Sarasota, Orlando and West Palm Beach. Experience Senior Living was founded in Colorado in 2016 and operates a variety of lifestyle brands around the country.
