Altamonte Springs-based AdventHealth’s Tampa Bay locations are poised to start the new year under newish leadership.

Ryan Quattlebaum has been appointed CEO of AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, a change from his in-house position as president and CEO for AdventHealth North Pinellas in Tarpon Springs. He will take over on Dec. 29.

He replaces outgoing CEO Erik Wangsness, who will transition into a CEO position at AdventHealth Tampa on Dec. 15. Wangsness will report to David Otatti, president and CEO of AdventHealth’s West Florida division.

Quattlebaum will report to Jennifer Wandersleben, Heartland Region president and CEO, whose coverage includes Hardee, Highlands, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties.

“Ryan is a passionate leader, and it is a joy to see him grow and step into this new role. His vision and leadership will be instrumental in driving our continued growth and success in Wesley Chapel, which is one of the fastest-growing communities in the West Florida Division,” Wandersleben says in a statement.

Quattlebaum was in his previous CEO role since 2022. Prior to joining AdventHealth, he had a variety of roles at Adventist Health — including CFO at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley and Adventist Health Howard Memorial. He also worked in a finance capacity for GE Healthcare and at Ernst & Young.

AdventHealth is an $18 billion nonprofit hospital system with facilities across nine states including Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin.
