Fashion retailer Nordstrom recently announced the opening of a location in Lakeland, which should be complete by fall 2025.

The 30,000 square-foot space will be in the shopping center Lakeside Village, alongside Kohl's, Books-A-Million, Belk and CMX Cinemas. Lakeside Village opened in 2005 and is owned and managed by Continental Realty Corporation.

"We look forward to being a part of the Lakeland community and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices," says Gemma Lionello, president of Nordstrom Rack in a statement. "We're excited to grow our footprint in the Tampa market and introduce new customers to Nordstrom Rack."

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc. and features steep discounts of up to 70% off products sold at Nordstrom stores. There are currently six Nordstrom locations and 19 Nordstrom Rack locations in Florida.

Seattle-based parent company Nordstrom was founded as a shoe store in 1901 and has 350 locations across the country through its Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom Local stores.
