“I look forward to working closely with the board, our dedicated staff, and the vibrant community of innovators to build on the strong foundation laid by Paul Hays and his team. Together, we'll create an ecosystem that not only incubates great ideas but also attracts investment, talent, and partnerships from across the globe. The future of innovation is bright in Tampa Bay,” Wood notes in a statement.

Joining Wood on the board is Kellen Carter, corporate counsel and chief compliance officer at ARK. In his new role, he will initiate an incubator partnership board.

ARK Investment Management is a tech focused firm and lists robotics, energy storage, DNA sequencing, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology as areas of interest in a recent statement.

Tampa Bay Innovation Center is a nonprofit hub founded in 2003 focused on serving technology-based entrepreneurs and organizations through its incubator and accelerator program.
