More than $227 million in homes or home sites have been sold at a Lakewood Ranch community in a little over a year, according to a statement. The lakefront development is Wild Blue at Waterside, which is located off University Parkway and is being created by Stock Development.

In the first 60 days of offering home sites there, Stock Development committed 85 of 94 available lots, prompting an early release last fall of phase two home sites, according to a statement.

Now, about 134 home sites or homes have been sold, accounting for nearly $227.5 million in sales, according to a Nov. 12 statement from Wild Blue at Waterside. Sites range from 64 feet to 1 acre, the statement says.

Homes start at $1.5 million, according to the Stock Development website. Builders include Stock Custom Homes, Stock Luxury Homes, Anchor Builders, AR Homes by Arthur Rutenberg Homes, John Cannon Homes and Lee Wetherington Homes.

The Midway Sports Complex — a 13-acre center with tennis, pickleball and basketball courts; dog parks; a playground; and a sports pro shop — is expected to open in the first quarter of 2025, according to the Wild Blue at Waterside website.

A clubhouse for residents is also in the planning stages. It will include a theater, fitness studio, golf simulator, pool complex, yoga lawn and putting green.

The sales office for Wild Blue at Waterside is at 8396 Sea Glass Court.
