Bank names new market president for West Central Florida

A veteran banking professional has been promoted to market president of West Central Florida for ServisFirst Bank. 

Brent Dykstra, who has more than 22 years of banking experience in the Venice and Sarasota areas, joined ServisFirst Bank as executive vice president and senior commercial banker in 2019, according to a statement from the bank. His expertise is in business development, commercial lending and portfolio management, the statement says.

In his new role as market president for ServisFirst Bank West Central Florida, Dykstra will oversee growth and strategic objectives in the region.

"I am honored to step into this new role with ServisFirst Bank and continue to expand our presence in West Central Florida," Dykstra says in the statement. 

ServisFirst Bank has a Sarasota office at 103 Links Ave. and a Venice office at 247 Tamiami Trail South.

"I look forward to advancing our mission of providing exceptional banking solutions and deepening relationships with our clients and partners across the region," says Dykstra.

ServisFirst Bank, which was formed in May 2005, is headquartered in Alabama and also has offices in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. A full-service commercial bank focused on commercial banking, correspondent banking, treasury management, private banking and the professional consumer market, ServisFirst Bank reports it has more than $16 billion in assets.
