Concert Golf Partners, an Orlando company that recently bought the Golf Club of the Everglades in Naples, is about to begin a major renovation at one of its other local courses.

The company is planning a multimillion dollar upgrade to the clubhouse at The Club at Renaissance, the private golf and country club in Fort Myers.

The Club at Renaissance’s clubhouse, fitness and spa complex total about 36,000 square feet.

Concert Golf did not disclose the exact cost of the project and says the work is expected to begin next year.

As for when it will be complete, a spokesperson says the company estimates the work will be done late next year or early 2026. But that’s subject to change and it will have a better idea of the exact timeline once the start date is finalized.

Concert Golf’s plans for the clubhouse include expanding the dining spaces and upgrading the look and feel of the entry and main dining areas. The company also plans to add new wine lockers designed for members along with a new bar and fixtures.

And as part of the renovation, the upstairs terrace will be screened in to allow views of the Arthur Hills-designed golf course.

The Club at Renaissance opened in 2003. According to its website, the clubhouse opened a year later and underwent a major renovation starting in 2019.

Concert Golf bought the club in 2022 and says the renovation is part of a long-planned strategic investment.

The club’s course is a 7,248-yard, par 72 that carries a 75.9 rating and 155 slope. (Ratings estimate the average golfers score and slope measures the difficulty of a golf course.)

Concert Golf was founded in 2011. The company says its business model aims to maintain the traditions of the clubs it buys while making improvements.

Today, it owns 35 golf clubs in 18 states. Nine of those are in Florida, including the Carrollwood Country Club in Tampa and the Plantation Golf & Country Club in Venice.

The latest addition to its portfolio was the Golf Club of the Everglades which it bought from The Pulte Home Co. last month.
