Homebuilder Taylor Morrison recently announced the development of seven communities across the Tampa Bay area to be completed next year in Hillsborough, Pasco and Manatee counties.

The following communities will bring 3,300 homes to the region:

  • Palm Winds in Hudson: just over 300 single-family homes priced from the $300s
  • Indigo Creek in Ruskin: approximately 235 single-family homes starting in the low $400s
  • Timber Ridge in Plant City: 150 single-family homes in the high $400s
  • Firethorn in Parrish: 1,000 single-family homes and 300 townhomes starting in the mid $300s
  • Coasterra in Palmetto featuring The Cove and Palms neighborhoods: 550 single-family homes priced from the $300s.
  • Esplanade: resort lifestyle brand within Coasterra.

“We are thrilled about the growth ahead in 2025 for our Tampa division and to offer a wide range of product types across seven new communities,” says Taylor Morrison Tampa division president Douglas Miller in the statement. “It’s especially exciting to enter new markets and we look forward to introducing our trusted brand in Plant City, Ruskin and Hudson while offering a seamless home buying experience for prospective customers.”

Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Taylor Morrison builds homes in 20 markets in 12 states. The company is the result of several mergers and acquisitions starting with Taylor Woodrow, a UK home builder formed in 1921 and Morrison Homes, founded in Seattle in 1905.
