SCS Cloud, a cloud-based software firm specializing in enterprise resource planning (ERP) services, was recently acquired by CrossCountry Consulting, a company specializing in finance, operations and technology advisory services based out of Washington, D.C.

CrossCountry Consulting is specifically drawn to SCS Cloud as a NetSuite provider, according to a statement. Netsuite is a business management software suite that helps companies manage its operation and financial infrastructure.

“Bringing on SCS Cloud is a pivotal step in our strategy to expand our existing ERP capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our clients,” says Erik Linn, co-founder and managing partner of CrossCountry Consulting in a statement. “With the addition of the deeply skilled SCS Cloud team, we are uniquely positioned to enhance our clients’ operational efficiencies and provide robust support for their transformational technology initiatives.”

SCS Cloud was founded in 2005 by CEO Derek Hitchman. It employs over 100 people in the U.S., Canada and the UK. In addition to NetSuite, SCS Cloud also provides consulting and implementation services for Salesforce and Smartsheet. CrossCountry Consulting looks to expand it’s global presence with the acquisition, the release states.
