Prominent Naples development exec named chamber chair

Barron Collier Cos. CEO Blake Gable has been named chairman of the Greater Naples Chamber Board of Directors.

The company is one of the largest land development, management and stewardship companies in Florida. It’s led by the Collier family, with roots tracing back 100 years to Collier County and its founder Barron G. Collier. Businesses it operates in include agriculture, land development and mineral management, according to a statement.

“Blake brings with him a wealth of experience, leadership and vision, and we are thrilled to have him at the helm as we navigate the exciting opportunities and challenges ahead,” Greater Naples Chamber President and CEO Kristina Park says in the release.

Barron Collier Cos. support of the Greater Naples Chamber dates back to 1975. “Barron Collier Cos. and I look forward to our continued partnership through our work with the chamber,” Gable says in the release.
