$12M Naples soap, wellness brand names new CFO

Naples Soap Co., a health and wellness brand known for skin and hair care products, has named veteran financial executive Richard James Kujak CFO.

Kujak’s position is effective July 1. He will replace current CFO and board member, Jim Milner, who, according to a statement, will remain on the board and will transition into the role of controller.

Kujak has managed revenues of up to $270 million annually at various companies in the CFO, vice president and controller roles. He’s worked in the pharmaceuticals, consumer products, building supplies, office products and automotive sectors.

“We are very pleased to welcome Rick aboard as Naples Soap Company approaches an inflection point in our growth, driven by several new initiatives that we expect will drive revenue momentum,” Naples Soap Co. founder and CEO Deanna Wallin says in the release. “Rick’s experience managing the finances of distribution, retail, recycling, and consumer products companies with complex operations will be a great asset as our company evolves.”

Founded in 2009 Naples Soap Co. is a supplier of more than 400 bath, body and personal care products. Products are sold at the Company’s 13 retail locations in Florida; online from the Company’s website; direct-to-consumer channels such as Amazon.com; and in more than 300 boutiques, spas and stores throughout the United States via the Company’s wholesale division.It had $12.35 million in revenue in 2023, up 11% over 2022.
