Naked Farmer is opening this week at University Town Center. The restaurant known for its farm-to-table dishes will welcome diners Wednesday, June 19, to its location at 215 N. Cattlemen Road, Sarasota.

This will be the seventh restaurant for the Naked Farmer, which started in St. Petersburg in 2020. Other Naked Farmer eateries are in Tampa (which has two), St. Pete, Coral Gables, Sunrise and Miami.

To deliver a menu featuring locally sourced foods with a focus on fresh vegetables, the company has established relationships with local farms in Florida and the Southeast.

Dishes on the summer menu include, among others, the Summer Harvest Salad featuring farm greens with mint, farmer’s panzanella, cucumber ranch salad, half avocado and cider vinaigrette as well as the Classic Naked, which contains charred chicken, macaroni and cheese, pecan kale caesar, brown rice, parsley and garlic aioli.

Naked Farmer will join 80-plus restaurants at University Town Center.

Hours will be 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays and 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays.
