A new event space made its debut recently in Sarasota County, and it marks the second location for the business owner.

Celebrations Venue encompasses 2,500 square feet near Kohl’s at 3888 Central Sarasota Parkway.

Owner Tatjana Frost opened her first Celebrations Venue in Brandon in 2019 when her family lived in Hillsborough County. Celebrations Venue in Brandon is at 610 Oakfield Drive.

“We moved to Sarasota from Riverview,” Frost says, and she saw a need in the area for a medium-sized venue that was not in a standalone building or hotel.

Celebrations Venue in Sarasota has a capacity of 141 people and is situated within a strip mall.

“Honestly, I just fell in love with the space when I saw it,” Frost says in an email, noting it had a lot of potential. “Now I can offer a beautiful, spacious venue for the people of Sarasota and surrounding areas to hold their special events where moments become memories.”

In addition to a ballroom that can be used for both a wedding and reception, Celebrations Venue offers high-speed internet and advanced audiovisual systems, a dressing room and plenty of parking. It also incorporates energy-efficient lighting and eco-friendly materials in its construction.

The space can be used for business meetings, dance lessons, private parties, baby and bridal showers, and other events.

“We are excited to open our doors to the community," Frost says in a statement, "and provide a space where unforgettable memories will be made."
