High-end steakhouse The Capital Grille has set an opening date for its first Fort Myers location.

The restaurant, known for dry-aged steaks, a world-class wine list and top service, is scheduled to open Monday, June 24, in  Bell Tower, a shopping, dining and entertainment destination on Daniels Parkway in Fort Myers. Managers seek to hire some 90 people for the restaurant, according to a statement.

Managing Partner Seth Kooistra, who has been with The Capital Grille for 15 years and is from Fort Myers, says in the statement that “I am excited to both hire and serve the great people from the community I grew up in.” He started his career at The Capital Grille as a server.

The Capital Grille is a unit of Orlando-based restaurant giant Darden. It has 11 other locations in Florida, including Naples, Sarasota and Tampa.

Real estate investor and developer Madison Marquette owns Bell Tower.
