Manatee County-based Feld Entertainment is making moves on its leadership team. The live entertainment company, which produces shows like Disney on Ice and the Super Motocross World Championship, named a new CEO as well as a new president.
Juliette Feld Grossman has been named the new CEO of Feld Entertainment and will be the third CEO in the company’s 57-year history. She will follow in the footsteps of her father, Kenneth Feld, who first joined his father, Irvin Feld, in the family business in 1970. Kenneth Feld, who was the previous CEO, will remain involved as board chairman.
“We are in a strong position to implement this leadership transition for the future of Feld Entertainment as the past two years have been the most successful in our company’s history,” Kenneth Feld says in a statement.
Success for the 2,000-employee company comes as Feld Entertainment has seen increases in consumer spending now that all of its shows are back on the road post-pandemic, a spokesperson for the company says. Also contributing are the relaunch of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey after a six-year hiatus and formation of SuperMotocross World Championships in 2023, hosting the annual Monster Jam World Finals in LA in 2024 and "great numbers" from retail partners selling Monster Jam products domestically and internationally.
Grossman, who joined the company in 2010, most recently held the title of COO. In that capacity, she led the transformation of Monster Jam into a global franchise and managed production development for Disney On Ice and the recently relaunched Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. In her new role as CEO, she will lead the company and develop new opportunities for the organization.
“I am honored to take on this role and build upon the strong foundation and legacy established by my father and grandfather,” Grossman says in a statement. “I work with a remarkable team of associates and it’s in concert with them that we will continue to bring joy to our fans worldwide and position our company for the future.”
Also ascending in the leadership team is Stephen Yaros, who is being promoted to president. Since starting with Feld Entertainment in 1990, Yaros has held numerous positions and was most recently the senior vice president of global media and Supercross. He oversaw business operations for and was instrumental in the team that launched the 31-round Super Motocross World Championship, broadcast on Peacock and through the SMX Video Pass in more than 130 countries worldwide, according to a statement. As president, he will take on new initiatives and manage complex cross-functional endeavors, the statement says.
Mike Shannon, the previous president of 18 years, will be stepping down, and the company in a statement recognizes his contributions such as “developing a culture of collaboration and teamwork across the organization.” Under his leadership, Feld Entertainment Studios was built out on 47 acres in Palmetto and Feld Entertainment acquired Monster Jam and Supercross.
Executive Vice Presidents Nicole Feld and Alana Feld will continue providing strategic direction on the company’s major initiatives on the board of directors, according to the statement.
Says Kenneth Feld: “I am confident that the extraordinary leadership and vision of Juliette, Steve and our senior executive team will continue to produce exceptional results for the organization.”
