This fall, Allegiant Air will offer nonstop service from the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It is one of several new routes around country that the airline announced will be launching in November.

“The addition of new routes is a testament to the success of our existing service in these communities,” Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief revenue officer, says in a statement.

Service from SRQ to Portsmouth International Airport will begin on Nov. 23. Introductory one-way fare rates are as low as $69, available until July 17, according to a statement.

This “marks the first nonstop flight between the state of New Hampshire and SRQ,” Rick Piccolo, SRQ president and CEO, says in a statement. It will also be Allegiant’s 28th nonstop destination from SRQ, he adds.

“With the completion of the new terminal expansion on the horizon, we anticipate continued growth with Allegiant at SRQ,” Piccolo says in a statement.

The new terminal will bring five new gates to SRQ by the end of 2024. All have been leased to Allegiant, the Business Observer previously reported. Piccolo anticipates the new gates will bring 2.2 million more passengers traveling through SRQ. The airport served 4.3 million passengers in 2023.
