Fort Myers contracting company appoints new president/CEO

A Fort Myers-based company specializing in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems has named a new president and CEO.

Jason Grabowski was appointed president and chief executive officer of B&I Contractors, which has offices in Fort Myers, Sarasota, Tampa and Tamarac.

Grabowski has worked for B&I Contractors since 1991 and has been on its executive leadership team since 2001. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University.

"Jason's leadership skills, industry knowledge and dedication to our company's mission makes him the ideal choice to lead us into the future,” board chairman Gary Griffin says in a statement. “We are confident that under Jason's guidance, B&I will continue to thrive in our industry."

Griffin was the company's previous CEO, while Grabowski had been president and chief operating officer. 

In his new role as president and CEO, Grabowski will oversee the company's strategic direction, operations and continued growth, according to a statement.

B&I Contractors posted $188 million in revenue for 2023. The company is employee-owned and has more than 1,100 employees.
