A 7,676-square-foot estate in Bradenton is on the market for $7 million.

The house is at 7012 Riverview Blvd. and sits on more than 4 acres along the Manatee River.

Coldwell Banker, which is listing the property, did not disclose the seller, but according to county property records, it is James William Doyle and Jana Susan Diehl. Doyle and Diehl paid $2.74 million for the property in 2019.

The two-story house and a boat house cottage total six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Coldwell Banker says the house has a gourmet chef's kitchen with a custom-designed French La Cornue Grand Palais 180 stove and two primary suites, each designed with imported Russian oak wood floors, intricate trim work and custom French iron chandeliers.

There is also a library, media room and a custom-designed wine cellar that holds over 1,000 bottles.

The main house has four bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two half baths. The cottage, which was built in 1921 and is being renovated, has two bedrooms and one bathroom.

Outside, there is a 400-foot dock with a 16,000-pound boat lift and an in-ground swimming pool and spa.

As important, if not more, as the design elements, the house has been built to be ready for hurricanes and flooding.

The real estate firm says the foundation has been raised several feet above the known flood level and that it was constructed to withstand hurricane-force winds with reinforced concrete as well as a slate roof securely anchored with hurricane clips and ties.

Emily Grace Holwerda of Coldwell Banker Realty is listing the property.
