Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, one of the largest casino and hotel facilities in Florida, seeks to hire some 200 people — opportunities, the company says, for hospitality workers displaced by hurricanes Milton and Helene.

The hotel is hosting two hiring events to fill the spots: One is Tuesday, Dec. 10 and another is Tuesday Dec. 17. Both are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to a statement. The one on Dec. 10 will take place at the Hard Rock Event Center, while the second one will be a food and beverage hiring event at The Rez Grill.

On Dec. 10, the company is specifically looking to fill dozens of openings as it prepares to reopen its Fresh Harvest Buffet in 2025. Open positions there include restaurant hosts/hostesses, bussers, servers, cashiers and cooks (all levels of experience), the release states. On Dec. 17, the open positions it seeks to fill include baristas, bussers, servers, assistant managers, cooks (all levels of experience), heavy-duty kitchen cleaners, dishwashers and sous chefs.

Candidates are encouraged to apply online by visiting GoToWorkHappy.com prior to the event. The property recruitment team and department hiring managers will be on-site to interview candidates who have pre-applied. For those unable to apply in advance, applications can be completed on-site using mobile devices. Offers may be made on the spot, the company says, “so candidates should be prepared for possible wait times during interviews and processing.”

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is owned and operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The casino offers nearly 5,000 slot machines, 168 table games and a state-of-the-art Poker Room featuring 46 tables. The 800-room hotel is AAA-Four-Diamond-rated and offers 12 restaurants. Amenities include the 1,500-seat Hard Rock Event Center.
