HVAC wholesaler in Fort Myers moving

United Refrigeration, a Philadelphia wholesale distributor of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, is moving its Fort Myers operations.

The company has leased a 17,235-square-foot space at 10898 Metro Parkway, a bit more than 2 miles from its current operation at 13080 Metro Parkway.

Terms of the lease were not disclosed.

According to a spokesperson for Colliers, which represented United and announced the move, the new space is nearly the same size but the company decided not to renew its lease at the current location.

“The new space has more premium features than the prior building,” the spokesperson says in an email.

The new space will have roughly 14,000 square feet of warehouse space and 3,000 square feet of office space. It includes a reception area, multiple offices, a conference room and kitchen.

United plans to make some minor renovations and move in during the first quarter of next year.

The company, which was founded in 1947, distributes equipment, parts and supplies in North America out of more than 400 warehouses in the United States and Canada. Of those, nine are on the Gulf Coast.

Its clients include mechanical contractors, supermarkets, small entrepreneurs, service mechanics and large industrial companies.
