Cadmus Dental Lab, a Tampa dental prosthetics manufacturer, has leased 21,400 square feet of space in the city and plans to double its work force.

According to a statement from the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council, Cadmus has taken the space at the Hillsborough Avenue office complex NetPark.

The space will allow the company to grow its employee base from 50 to 100 over the next three years, hiring for positions including finance, logistics, fabrication, client and customer service, field support, and technical solutions.

Cadmus Dental Lab was founded by Kelly Boyd-Rivera in 2021, one of only three women worldwide who own a dental lab, the EDC says. The company creates implants, crowns and bridges, dentures and partials, and orthodontic appliances for dental practices around the world.

In the statement, Boyd-Rivera says that the company has experienced 20% growth month-over-month and outgrown its current 11,000-square-foot space in Ybor City.

It will move into the new space this fall.

NetPark is a nearly 1 million-square-office park at at 5701 E. Hillsborough Ave.

The New Jersey real estate investment firm Saxum Real Estate Partners bought the center earlier this year for $45 million.
