Frontier Airlines is adding a nonstop flight from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport to Cincinnati, Ohio, starting this fall.

Effective Oct. 12, the airline will provide weekly service from SRQ to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).

“We are delighted to expand our offerings in Sarasota, providing consumers with an affordable and convenient air travel option to Cincinnati and beyond,” Josh Flyr, vice president of operations and network design for Frontier Airlines, says in a statement.

Flights between SRQ and CVG start at $29 through a promotion that ends Sept. 2, according to the statement.

This will be the third route out of SRQ for Frontier Airlines, which also flies from Sarasota to Cleveland and Philadelphia.

"This new addition will enhance Frontier's current offerings," President and CEO of Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport Rick Piccolo says in a statement.

Frontier's announcement marks the latest flight to be added to SRQ's offerings, following news this summer of additional service coming from Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Avelo Airlines and Breeze Airways.
