Just a half-mile south of the Don Cesar Hotel sitting directly on St. Pete Beach is the top grossing residential sale in Pinellas County to date.

The house, 2709 Sunset Way, sold for $11.4 million, according to a statement. Originally listed for $12.4 million, it is the highest-priced sale in the history of St. Pete Beach — even with 8% shaved off the asking price, the release adds. (Pinellas County property records haven't been updated with the sale as of Aug. 5, and the company that listed the property, Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, says the buyer "prefers to remain anonymous.")

The home was built on 0.21 acres in 2015 and is the vision of seller Judy Vezmar, former CEO of LexisNexis International. A floating three-story staircase links the various amenities of the house, including a foyer, elevator station, workout room, library style-office and indoor cabana.

Outdoor amenities include covered and uncovered seating areas, an outdoor kitchen, and an oversized pool. A private trail leads from the backyard to Pass-a-Grille Beach.

“I’m grateful to represent my customers in this historic transaction,” says Nick Janovsky, the Premier Sotheby’s International Realty agent who brokered the deal, in the statement. “This exquisite residence is the ideal sanctuary, boasting an enhanced lifestyle with its prime location and exceptional amenities—making it an unparalleled choice for their new home.”
