Tampa Bay CPA firm rebrands to reflect more services

One of the largest public accounting firms in the region, SBF CPAs, is rebranding under the name SBF Advisors. 

SBF, which goes back to a 216 merger of a pair of Tampa Bay accounting firms, stands for Spoor Bunch Franz. But with additional services, other mergers and expansion beyond Florida to Tennessee, the firm’s partners, according to a statement, “felt it was time for a comprehensive brand message update.” 

SBF Advisors firm hired marketing advisory firm Simons Marketing to work on a market research brand study. It also engaged Simons Marketing for a recruiting brand study. 

“The name SBF Advisors reflects the breadth of services the firm offers today and will expand to provide in the future,” Managing Partner Rich Franz says in the release. “It is a reflection of the strength of the firm, our employees, and our service to clients. This new brand language will serve as the basis of a thoughtful marketing strategy so that our future growth continues to be good growth.”

SBF Advisors’ services include accounting and tax services, business advisory, business valuations, litigation support and forensic accounting, as well as wealth management and estate planning through their affiliated businesses.It works with organizations in affordable housing, automotive, health care, manufacturing, nonprofit and real estate. SBF Advisors rolled out the brand language throughout its website on April 15.
