A new C-suite executive has stepped up at Sarasota-based Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation.
The nonprofit recently announced it had hired Greg Luberecki as the new chief communications and learning officer. Luberecki will be responsible for managing the organization’s brand and external communications. He brings in over 18 years of experience to the role within the philanthropic and nonprofit sector, most specifically in the Sarasota region.
Luberecki, according to a statement, will also document lessons and results of the nonprofit’s initiatives and grants so the Barancik Foundation can build on previous efforts. According to nonprofit research service provider Candid GuideStar, Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation has $551.68 million in assets.
Previously, Luberecki was the vice president of strategic communications for Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota. He also spent 16 years within the communications and marketing department at Sarasota-based Gulf Coast Community Foundation.
