Breeze Airways says it will add service to Gulfport-Biloxi, Mississippi, from Tampa, starting Jan. 12, according to a Breeze news release.

Fares on the new nonstop flight from TPA start from $29 one-way, if purchased by Oct. 30 for travel by Sept. 3, 2024. For particular promotions, flights must be purchased at flybreeze.com or through the Breeze app.

The Biloxi-Gulfport flights will be on Mondays and Fridays.

Breeze also offers nonstop service from Tampa to Akron-Canton, Ohio; Bentonville-Fayetteville, Arkansas; Charleston, South Carolina; Charleston, West Virginia; Columbus, Ohio; Hartford; Huntsville, Alabama; Louisville, Kentucky; Norfolk, Virginia; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Portland, Maine; Providence, Rhode Island; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina; Richmond, Virginia; Springfield, Illinois; and Syracuse, New York.

Breeze also offers "one stop-no plane change" in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"Breeze Airways continues to offer Tampa International Airport's travelers new and exciting nonstop options, this time to the fun-filled gulf coast of Mississippi," says Joe Lopano, CEO of TPA in a statement. "This flight to the Gulfport-Biloxi region is the latest example of Breeze’s commitment to TPA, which has served as a key base for the airline since its inaugural flight from here in 2021."

Breeze seeks to connect cities that don’t currently have nonstop flight options, says Tom Doxey, president of Breeze. "Now our Tampa guests will have convenient and affordable service to Gulfport and Biloxi."

Breeze Airways began service in May 2021.  Breeze offers a mix of more than 150 year-round and seasonal nonstop routes between 38 cities in 23 states, the airline company says. Founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, Breeze operates a fleet of Embraer 190/195 and Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
