HCA Florida Englewood Hospital recently announced a new CEO.

Joe Rudisill steps into the role with over 16 years of health care leadership and operations experience, according to a press release.

He has served the past four years as COO for Mission Hospital, an HCA Healthcare facility in North Carolina. During that time, he was responsible for adding 10 robotic systems to the hospital and oversaw $271 million in capital construction projects. Prior to that, Rudisill was the COO and ethics and compliance officer for HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, the release states.

“We are very excited to have Joe return to the West Florida division where he will put his experience with a strong growth agenda and surgical robotic system expansions to work in some of the state’s fastest growing communities that Englewood Hospital so proudly serves,” Division President Jyric Sims says in the release.

The West Florida division is part of the HCA Florida Healthcare group with 15 hospitals, 30 emergency room locations, 14 ambulatory surgery centers, as well as several physician practices, graduate medical education programs, a regional lab and consolidated service center.
