November has been a busy month for new flights at Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers.

New routes that debuted in the first 10 days of the month include:

  • A daily nonstop flight to Toronto on Porter Airlines, which debuted Nov. 10. Porter, according to a statement, will operate the service on an Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. It will be the first time this aircraft type will be flying in the United States, the airline and airport say. Porter, also, is a new air carrier for Southwest Florida International Airport, which goes by the code letters of RSW. Porter Airlines announced the new service in August 2023.
  • Breeze Airways debuted nonstop service to New Orleans from RSW Nov. 2.
  • Breeze also debuted nonstop service to Norfolk, Virginia, on Nov 2.

Both New Orleans and Norfolk are new markets for RSW and the flights will be twice a week. Breeze Airways announced this new service in July 20.
