A new territory general manager has been named at Coca-Cola Beverages Florida LLC.

Theodore “Teddy” Mejeur was recently promoted by the beverage giant to oversee the Sarasota territory, which is one of Coke Florida’s 18 markets in the state. In his new role, Mejeur will oversee sales, distribution and warehouse operations in Manatee, Sarasota and parts of Charlotte counties.

He’s been with the company since 2011, serving as sales director for various counties throughout Florida.

“Teddy has played an essential role in our business for over 12 years,” Jeffrey Ortmeier, vice president of field franchise operations for Coke Florida, says in a press release. “The solid expertise he has demonstrated on the business development and sales side, along with an excellent rapport amongst associates and the community, made this a fitting promotion for our Sarasota team.”

According to the release, Coke Florida’s territory reaches over 21 million consumers in 47 counties. It’s the third largest privately held and sixth largest Coca-Cola bottler in the U.S. The company was founded in 2015 with its headquarters in Tampa.

“I am honored to lead our local team of professionals focused on providing customers with the best service possible,” Mejeur says. “Collectively, we are excited for the opportunity to make a real impact in the communities we serve.”
