Next Architecture, a 20-year-old, Pittsburgh-based architectural firm, has opened a regional office in Tampa.

The expansion, according to a news release, represents the first satellite office for Next, which was founded in 2003 by Dan Delisio and has since grown to have a staff of more than 20 people. Wesley Osborne, an architect and Florida native, has been hired to lead the firm’s Tampa office.

“We wanted to build upon existing client relationships,” Delisio states in the release. “Tampa made perfect sense for our first regional office location outside Pittsburgh.”

Osborne, the release states, has completed numerous projects in the Tampa Bay region and, by joining Next, looks to build upon those successes as the firm celebrates its 20th anniversary in a new market.

"I am thrilled to join NEXT architecture as we embark on this exciting chapter of expansion in the vibrant Florida market,” Osborn states in the release. “Having worked extensively in Florida throughout my career, I am eager to leverage my network of relationships and forge new ones as we grow in this dynamic region. Joining this 20-year established firm is a tremendous opportunity, and I am excited to be part of the team shaping the future of design in this new market.”
