A national window, door and garage door manufacturer has rebranded a part of its brand after initially launching in 1987.
Throughout its lifespan, Venice-based PGT Innovations has gone through minor logo design shifts and brand positioning, a press release states. This rebrand, specific to PGT Custom Windows and Doors, unveils a new look and tagline.
Additionally, the windows and doors flagship is expanding its focus to provide high performance glass technology from just prioritizing impact-resistant products. The brand’s new slogan is “the freedom to live where and how you want,” to showcase the company’s new expanded focus of going beyond hurricane protection.
“Since its inception, PGT Innovations has been dedicated to providing solutions that revolutionize the way people live,” Jeff Jackson, president and CEO of PGT Innovations, says in the release. “This rebrand elevates PGT Custom Windows and Doors to a new level of alignment with PGTI’s focus by empowering people to live life on their own terms, wherever they choose to call home.
The new logo features solid shapes, which is meant to represent strong leadership, and open spaces inside the letters to convey the creation of a window or door frame, the release states. The color blue also appears, which is consistent with the brand’s previous logo color, but has been updated as a brighter shade.
The rebrand decision was made strategically to take place alongside the team’s growth and investments recently made to increase supply and production capacity and expanding the brand’s truck and trailer fleet.
“The new branding is a beautiful demonstration of what PGT Custom Windows and Doors is and has always been: a brand that is able to grow and evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of the market, while maintaining its commitment to serving our building professional partners,” Debbie LaPinska, chief customer officer, says in the release.
The new brand has been incorporated on the brand’s website, brochures, print and digital ads, and commercials.
