HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital has promoted Jordan Fulkerson to CFO.

According to a news release, Fulkerson joined the health care system in 2018 as assistant CFO of HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. He was then promoted to assistant CFO at HCA Florida Largo Hospital.

Fulkerson, the release states, began his hospital finance career at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee, Illinois, where he served as an accountant for three years before being promoted to director of patient financial services and health information management.

“We are excited to welcome Jordan to HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital,” HCA Florida CEO Sally Seymour states in the release. “Jordan has been a part of the HCA family for five years and has an excellent track record of financial expertise and success. His strong business acumen will be an invaluable asset to our hospital as we continue to serve the growing healthcare needs of the St. Petersburg community.”

Earlier in his career, Fulkerson also served as CFO of George E. Weems Memorial Hospital, a critical access facility in Apalachicola.
